Cross River state governor, Ben Ayade, has rescheduled the take off date for the no mask no movement order in the state to Monday, April 6th.
The state governor on Wednesday issued a directive that beginning from Friday April 3rd, residents of the state would not be allowed to move without a mask, adding that the move is towards shielding the resident of the state from the ravaging coronavirus pandemic.
A statement released by Christian Ita, the Special Adviser Media and Publicity to the governor on Friday morning, said it has been moved to April 6 and the shift was necessitated by the need to allow the state-owned garment factory have enough time to produce more masks for further free deliveries to the people and residents of Cross River state. He said this is to ensure that more people have the masks before the enforcement commences.
