Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi to undergo surgery that will keep him sidelined for one month
Leicester city of England and Nigerian midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi is set to undergo surgery after suffering an injury in training, Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed.

Ndidi, on a superb form this season, has been involved in every single game played by the Foxes in the Premier League this season - 20 in total only missing Sheffield United and has racked up 1,730 minutes in the EPL this season, with club like Manchester United and Tottenham reportedly after him.

Ndidi's injury and subsequent surgery means he will miss very important matches against Southampton, Burnley, West Ham United and Brentford during his spell on the sidelines.
"Wilf took a knock in training yesterday, which unfortunately means he might need a slight operation tomorrow," Brendan Rodgers was quoted as saying by Leicester City's official Twitter account.
"That’ll put him out for a few weeks, but it’s not overly serious, so hopefully, going into February, he’ll be fit and ready to go again."
