#CAFawards: No Nigerian player made CAF Team of the year

#CAFawards: Ighalo, Chukwueze, Ndidi and Osimhen snubbed as no Nigerian player made CAF Team of the year
No Super Eagles player was named in the 11 man team list released by African football's governing body, CAF during it's annual end of year Awards gala in Albatros Citadel Sahl Hasheesh, Hurghada, Egypt Tuesday night.

The 11 best players of the continent had stellar names like Mo Salah of Egypt and Liverpool, Mahrez of Man.City/Algeria and Saido Mane of Senegal/Liverpool but had no space in the line up for Nigerian players who did well in 2019 like Odion Ighalo, Samuel Chukwueze, Wilfred Ndidi and Victor Osimhen.

Other players that made the CAF team of the year include Onana of Ajax, Joel Matip of Liverpool and Pierre Aubameyang of Arsenal.
