Last words by pilot of the crashed Ethiopian Airlines plane has been revealed

Last words by pilot of the crashed Ethiopian Airlines plane has been revealed
A new report has revealed that one of Ethiopian Airlines Flight ET302’s pilots told the other “pitch up, pitch-up” moments before the Boeing 737 Max jetliner crashed three weeks ago.

According to The Wall Street Journal, that instruction and other information about the plane’s final moments paint a picture of a flight crew that was quickly overwhelmed. The Ethiopian Airlines jet took off from Addis Ababa on March 10 and ran into trouble almost immediately, the Journal reported.

First Officer Ahmed Nur Mohammed contacted the control tower and in a crackling transmission reported a “flight control problem,” according to the newspaper, which cited people close to the ongoing investigation. The tower asked for details as Captain Yared Getachew tried to climb and correct the glide path, the paper reported.

Two minutes into the flight oscillation became a wild bounce, then a dive. The flight lasted fewer than six minutes. The pilot who urged the other to pitch up was not identified, as all 157 people on board the plane were killed. The newspaper’s report came as Boeing faces mounting pressure to roll out a software update for its 737 Max, its best-selling jet.

A faulty anti-stalling system on the Max is suspected in the disaster, which occurred shortly after takeoff. The Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System (MCAS) flight-control feature is also suspected in the crash of a Lion Air Boeing 737 Max in Indonesia last October, according to the BBC.

The Lion Air flight went down soon after takeoff, killing all 189 people on board.  Arlines grounded 737 Max jets in their fleets after the Ethiopian Airlines crash.  It is hoped there will be a fix in time for the peak summer travel season, the Associated Press reported.  The Max remains grounded worldwide and airlines are losing money because of canceled flights.

'I miss Cristiano Ronaldo in Spain': Lionel Messi admits he wishes the ex-Real Madrid star was still in La Liga

The rivalry between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in Spain ended after the Portuguese left Real Madrid for Juventus last summer in a staggering £100million deal.
Now, his fierce rival, Lionel Messi has admitted he wishes Ronaldo was still in La Liga.
'I miss Cristiano,' Messi told FM Club 947 in Argentina. 'Although it was a bit difficult to see him win trophies, he gave La Liga prestige.
'Juventus are a great candidate to win the Champions League since the arrival of Cristiano, and the match against Atleti must have given them a lot of confidence.'

The Barcelona captain also went on to name a list of players who he feels are at the top of their game at the moment.
'I don't want to forget anyone, but I think that Neymar, [Kylian] Mbappe, [Eden] Hazard, Luis Suarez and [Sergio] Aguero are the best,' he added.
'I didn't mention Cristiano because I put him aside from the list with me.'

Reacting to criticism aimed him after he pulled out of Argentina's win over Morocco this week and travelled back to Barcelona.
'Somebody says whatever they want to say about me and then people believe it and I'm painted as the son of a b****,' he said.
'It has become the custom to say things about me. They invent things about me when I am not there. Nothing surprises me.
'The truth is I came back to the Argentina team with a pubis injury that I have been carrying since December and I have been training less and not playing all games.
'Pubis injuries are complicated; you cannot shake them off from one day to the next. I feel better but I have to take care of myself.
'I wanted to play both games with Argentina but after the first game I had some pain and I decided to rest so as not to aggravate the injury. It is improving all the time but it is not completely cleared up.'

Irish Police investigating sexual-assault allegation against UFC star Conor McGregor

Irish Police investigating sexual-assault allegation against UFC star Conor McGregor
Controversial Irish UFC star, Conor McGregor, who just announced his retirement from the sport today, is reportedly under investigation over sexual assault accusation in Ireland
According to TMZ, the father of two was arrested in January as part of a sexual assault investigation stemming from an alleged incident in Dec. at a hotel in Dublin, Ireland.
McGregor was reportedly released from custody and has not been charged with a crime.
Irish media have been reporting on the case for months without naming McGregor as the suspect because of laws that prevent news outlets from naming rape suspects unless they have been convicted.
The accuser is said to a woman in her 20s who claims she had been hanging with friends in South Dublin before ending up at the Beacon Hotel on Dec. 10th.  After the alleged sexual assault, the woman went to police and filed a report and was then taken to a nearby hospital where she was treated in the Sexual Assault Treatment Unit, according to local reports.
It was also reported that cops tried to obtain surveillance footage to see if they could place McGregor at the hotel at the time of the alleged incident.
When approached by the media back in December, a police spokesperson said, "[Cops] are investigating an alleged sexual assault on a female which occurred in Dublin 2 in the early hours of this morning, Monday, December 10, 2018."
"No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing."

Why every christian must pay tithe - CLAM Pastor, Wole Oladiyun explains

Why every christian must pay tithe - CLAM Pastor, Wole Oladiyun explains
CLAM Senior Pastor, Wole Oladiyun in this recent interview with City People Magazine explains why all Christians must pay tithe and also advised all Christians to adopt the principle of giving.
Below are excerpts of his views.

Over the last few months many Pastors have come under close scrutiny and attack from those outside the church. What is your take on various criticisms pastors have been subjected to?
The Bible says the prince of this world comes and finds nothing in me. The Bible equally said: “He who stands must beware, so that he does not fall”. The criticisms are both positive and negative. There are norms that we must conform to as Christian leaders. Once we deviate from those norms, we must be checked. The criticisms, in a way are checks, and they are welcome. We are in a position of leadership and we must be responsible.
There are 3 major things I emphasise to Christian leaders. One, that God has put us in the ministry, we have not put ourselves there and it’s a great opportunity. So, the first thing is God has given us an opportunity. When a man is given an Opportunity, the onus now lies on the man to be responsible and be accountable.
So, those two things must be adhered to. We must be responsible for the opportunity to be in ministry and we must be accountable. When responsibility is shirked, then there must be deterrent measures. When we are not accountable then we must be pummeled.
The public, singularly speaking can raise voices against us, and then we must check ourselves. You can’t rule it out that people are saying what they don’t know because we are human beings. We have the episcopal grace. But we must use the grace to better the lot of the people. Some pastors are not called, they called themselves.
You can imagine abominable things happening in Christendom. It gives us concerns, those of us who are really standing right by the grace of God. How can you imagine pastors patronising dark practitioners, people in the occult world? It’s not right.
How can you imagine pastors using the inflowing to the ministry for frivolous things, instead of using the resources to build humanity, to build a better life for people, to build legacies that our children will see tomorrow and congratulate us. When you see pastors living extravagantlifestyle, it shouldn’t be so.
These days, you see pastors sleeping with women in church and young ones doing abominable things or saying things they don’t do. It’s not right. That is not being responsible, that is not being accountable. When those things are happening, the Holy Spirit goes away from such ministers, and then they will now look for other means to help themselves up.
So, when we are criticized in those areas, those criticisms are welcomed, so that we can change. So that we can conform to the norms of our Lord Jesus Christ. Many General overseers, who are doing evil these days don’t have eternity in mind. But I must say some criticisms in some areas are purgatory.
They are not positive, like people criticizing Giving, Tithing and first fruit. Those are biblical norms nobody can work against. You can criticize those who are not using the resources right. For instance, every income in CLAM for the past 21years is well accounted for, I have the records. And you can see the visible things we are doing with the income.
By the grace of God, if you check in Nigeria today, CLAM has one of the leading medical facilities, caring for people with minimal charges. We just take charges that can make us to pay the staffers. For example, we did the 4th brain surgery a few weeks ago.
Each brain surgery will cost 8 million in India, but here we did each one successfully for 900k. Here in CLAM Soteria Maternity, we’ve done hip replacement and so many surgeries successfully. Now we just concluded one-month free medical checkup for women with our Mammogram machine.
Last year alone, 2 to 3 mad persons gave birth to children by the way side and they were brought here. We took care of them and handed them over to the Lagos medical welfare successfully. When we see people who could not afford their bills we let them go.
We are doing things right here. Our farms alone will be able to take 7,000 to 10,000 youths off the street. How about using money coming in to CLAM to set up an acquisition scheme, vocational center? Miscreants are being brought in here to be trained. People from other faith are coming here to be trained. We award scholarships. We are training a lady who will become a Pilot in 3 months’ time, in Philippine.
We are training people in primary school, secondary school and University. Even the Muslim community here benefited from our scholarship awards. We are taking care of them. We live together in peace with our neighbours. That is Christianity as defined by Jesus. When ministers veer off, we must be checked, they must be checked.
The money that built the Soteria Hospital could have been deposited to wet lease a plane, but I have not done that. There is nothing bad in using a Jet. Let me balance it and let the whole world hear. I am a crusader; I go to villages that pastors don’t go. I have been to several countries, states, towns and villages.
Sometimes I would be tired in the car and feel like having a helicopter, to bring me out of those villages and hamlets immediately I finish. If anybody gives me, a helicopter, I will collect it, use it, and nobody must shout because I have paid my dues. So, for those of us, who have paid our dues, we deserve a major comfort.
What is your take on the issue of Titthe?
Tithing has to do with the 10% of your income. It belongs to God. When you pay your Tithe, you activate benefits from the Lord. When you give your Offering, you activate blessings from the Lord. When you give your First fruit, you enter into a level of wealth unprecedented, because God will begin to release ideas, he will begin to minister to you.
Payment of Tithes is a spiritual thing; it cannot be analyzed with our gumption. These are biblical norms that must not be faulted by anyone. No one is compelled to give; we explain the principle to the people, the onus now lies on you to activate the principles. It is as simple as that.
When you give your Tithe, you chase away devourers from your finances. Even the Muslims give Zakat. They believe Zakat is a matter of must for them. Those who are not born again, they are neither a Muslim nor Christian, yet they Give and receive, Law of nature, Law of nemesis, Law retribution. What you give will activate receiving from the supernatural; I’m talking on the mundane level.
Every Giver is an Achiever, even those who don’t know God, once you give you receive. It’s a natural principle that God has instituted. So, in our faith by the grace of God, Tithing, Giving of Offering and first fruit is very important. When the money flows into the church, they must be multiplied. They must be well used. When it’s not well used, then criticism comes in.
What is the correlation between the Old and New Testaments on the issue of Tithing, because that has been the argument over the years?
When people are bringing issues up, I’ll want us to discuss holistically. The bible is just one book. Everything in the Old Testament is the shadow of the New Testament.
When you are talking of Tithing, are they saying we don’t have Tithe issues in the New Testament? When you look at Hebrew 7 for example you will see everything there.
The Leviticus priest had paid Tithe in Abraham’s time. Abraham was the great grandfather, followed by Isaac, Jacob then Levi. The Levi was the 4th generation. When Abraham had an encounter with Melchizedek, there was an exchange. He paid Tithe.
He said this levite has paid tithe in Abraham. I don’t like complication. That simply means through the blood, genetically levite has done that, though he wasn’t born then. We are the modern day Leviticle priest.
So, the priesthood is there and there is nothing anybody can do about that. If you say ‘tithe should not come to church; we should not follow the principles of God? We would deny many people of their benefits? You want me to go back and be practising engineering and give myself fully to this work; If I do that you won’t meet CLAM like this.
We won’t be affecting our nation like this. So, for those of us who are genuinely doing the work if I do that well, we know these principles are real and these principles will be there till the 2nd coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. They cannot be discarded. They cannot be removed. They cannot be deleted and they cannot be taken away from the Bible. They remain as God has stated them.
When you are talking of Giving, Giving runs through. When you are Tithing, you are Giving the 10% of your earnings to activate the blessing and promises of God. Giving is an act. Some people don’t even give physical money, but they give their services. Some people intercede, they give in intercession. So, Giving is multi-dimensional. It’s the principle of God; it’s the principle of the kingdom. Giving must not be compromised.
As a rational human being, what you sow, you reap. It works for everyone irrespective of your faith bias. There is something very unscientific about Giving just like the Anointing. The first Submarine made by God was the fish that swallowed Jonah.
He was in the belly of a fish for 3 days, God suspended the digestive system of that fish, Jonah was not digested, and the fish vomited him on the 3rd day. That was not scientific. So, this principle is beyond Science. It’s beyond rational analysis.
Take for instance. Jesus met with the disciples and the tax payers asked them to pay tax. Jesus asked Peter to go to the sea with his hook, the first fish that comes, he should pick it, open it and bring the money in it. Can science rationalize that?
So, it’s the same thing with Giving. Also, the wife of one of the prophets went to Elisha, she said to him, “Your servant, when he was alive owed, though he was a good man, now the creditors have come to take the two sons, what shall I do”?
Elisha asked if she has anything in the house, she said ‘nothing but a little measure of oil and Elisha said, go and borrow vessels, lock the door, get the oil and start pouring it inside the vessels, and the little oil filled so many vessels. Can science rationalize that? So, you can’t rationalize the principle of Tithing, first fruit and Giving. There is something that is beyond common sense about the principle of God.

'This team don't deserve the shirt': Diego Maradona blasts Lionel Messi and his Argentina teammates after 3 - 1 defeat by Venezuela

Football legend and Dorados de Sinaloa coach, Diego Maradona has slammed the Argentina national team after they were defeated 3-1 by Venezuela in a friendly on Friday night.
Striker Lautaro Martinez scored the only goal for Argentina, but goals from Salomon Rondon, Jhon Murillo, and Josef Martinez of Venezuela were enough to defeat La Albiceleste at the Wanda Metropolitano.
When Maradona was asked if he had watched the game, he said: 'No I didn't see the Argentina game, I don't watch horror movies.
'The inept people who will govern the national team, did they think they were going to beat Venezuela? They are a good team.
'Argentina entered through the window, not even through the door because they betray and lie to people all the time. I'm sorry but they won't win games.
'I feel very Argentine but I feel with other coaches and players like Ruggeri, Batista, Giusti, Pumpido, Caniggia it would be different.
'This team don't deserve the shirt. They don't have a clue and I'm sorry for the people of Argentina who continue to believe these liars and for the players who have to put up with it.'

Breaking: Tribunal declares dancing senator, Ademola Adeleke winner of Osun governorship election
The Osun State Governorship Election Tribunal has declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ademola Adeleke, as the winner of the election which held in September last year.
The Tribunal made the declaration today March 22nd after dismissing a preliminary objection against the petition of the PDP and Senator Adeleke, challenging the September 2018 governorship election in the state. The preliminary objection was filed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidate in the election, Governor Gboyega Oyetola, as well as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The date of Neymar's hearing has yet to be confirmed, following confirmation of the charge on Friday afternoon.

Legendary Ghanaian ethnomusicologist Kwabena Nketia has died

Legendary Ghanaian ethnomusicologist, Kwabena Nketia has died
The famous Ghanaian ethnomusicologist and composer Joseph Kwabena Nketia has died at the age of 97 after a brief illness at Legon Hospital in Ghana’s capital city Accra.

He was born on 22 June 1921 in Mampong in Ghana’s Ashanti Region.

In his lifetime he was much celebrated and several events were organised in his honour. At one of such event, the Asantehene Osei Tutu II said Nketia's "life symbolises the evolution of our nation in the 20th century. There are many parallels in his life's story, which mirrors the national endeavours in the country. [He is] a bridge between our indigenous culture and modern culture, non-literate and literate traditions, old and young artists, Ghana and Africa in the dissemination."

As a young man, Nketia received a government scholarship and proceeded to the University of London where he studied at the School of Oriental and African Studies. He had received some education at the Presbyterian Training College in Akropong Akwapin.

After his time at the University of London, he went to Trinity College of Music in London. There he received a bachelor of arts degree. At 37, he went to the US and attended courses in composition and musicology at Columbia University, Juilliard School of Music and Northwestern University.

Upon his return to Ghana, he went into academia and became a professor in 1963. In 1965, he was named the director of the Institute of African Studies. His reputation as a leading figure in ethnomusicology was unrivaled and his work was frequently cited in papers and discussions within the field.

One of his innovations includes the introduction of an easier-to-read 6/8 time signature. It was intended as a revision to the system deployed by Ephraim Amu, the musicologist who influenced Nketia’s first set of choral compositions. Nketia also provided an entirely indigenised basis for the transcription of Ghanaian folk music.
His works include ‘Maforo Pata Hunu’, ‘Obarima Nifahene’, ‘Asuo Meresen’, ‘Onipa Beyee Bi’, ‘Yiadom Heneba’, ‘Mekae Na Woantie’, ‘Adanse Kronkron’, ‘Morbid Asem’, Monna N’Ase, ‘Yaanom Montie’, ‘Onipa Dasani Nni Aye’.

Nketia was the grandfather to the popular Ghanaian rapper Manifest. The rapper took to social media to commemorate the event of the patriarch. “Overwhelming legacy,” he wrote. “A life well lived. Grandpa, thank you. Your humanity was your greatest composition.”

To pay the new minimum wage, FG may increase Value Added Tax – Budget minister

To pay the new minimum wage,?FG may increase Value Added Tax ? Budget minister
Senator Udo Udoma, the Minister of Budget and National Planning appeared before the Senate Committee on Finance today and hinted that the Federal Government was considering, among others, an upward review of the Value Added Tax to enable it to fund the new national minimum wage.
Udoma also told the panel headed by Senator John Owan-Enoh that the Technical Advisory Committee on the minimum wage will submit its report to President Buhari this week.
He said, “The current minimum wage of N18,000 is really too low. It is difficult for workers to manage on that amount. The President supported a review, but it is important that as we are revising it, we should be able to fund it.
“It is in the light of this that we would be coming to you (Senate) because there may be the need to make some changes, especially the VAT, in order to fund the minimum wage once it is announced.”
He also said efforts were on to ensure that capital projects and other sectors of the economy are adequately funded.

Breaking: Senate approves N30,000 minimum wage
The Nigerian Senate has approved the sum of N30,000 as the new national minimum wage.
This followed the submission of the report of the ad-hoc committee on new minimum wage headed by Senator Francis Alimikhena this morning Tuesday March 19th.
The upper chamber asked the Federal Government to submit a supplementary budget to cover the new wage structure for consideration and approval.
Speaking after passing the minimum wage bill into law, the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, said
''Let me join our colleagues to commend the efforts of the committee. More importantly, let me commend the patience of Nigerian workers and the leadership of the Labour Union, who have over the years been calling for this minimum wage and have carried their efforts responsibly.
I want to commend the leaders of the organisations of the union. Let me also state that as government, we should ensure that at times like these, we should not wait for there to be strikes to do what is truly deserving for our workers. I hope that with this minimum wage our workers will double their efforts to increase their productivity, so that we can also improve the general productivity of the country. It is my hope that the implementation of this will start immediately''.

So far, three companies have distanced themselves from actress Lori Loughlin and her daughter.
The Hallmark Channel severed ties with Loughlin on Thursday afternoon, saying in a statement to CNN:

We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations. We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third party production.

Technology giant Hewlett Packard also removed an ad featuring Loughlin and daughter, Olivia Jade Giannulli, 19.

The company said in a statement to CNN:

The company does not currently have a relationship with either of them.

The technology company said that it worked with Loughlin and her daughter in 2017 for a "one time product campaign."
Also on Thursday, the cosmetic giant Sephora announced the company would be ending a makeup partnership with Loughlin's daughter.
A statement released by the company said:

After careful review of recent developments, we have made the decision to end the Sephora Collection partnership with Olivia Jade, effective immediately.

Olivia Jade is a social media influencer with more than 1.4 million followers on Instagram and 1.9 million subscribers on YouTube. A number of brands partnered with her due to her influence on social media.
Loughlin, her husband, designer Mossimo Giannulli, and fellow actress Felicity Huffman are among 50 individuals facing federal charges in what investigators dubbed "Operation Varsity Blues" - a scheme in which wealthy parents allegedly cheated to help their children get into prestigious universities (read here).
Her parents are charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud. They allegedly paid bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for their two daughters to be designated as recruits to the USC crew team, though they did not participate in crew, according to court filings obtained by CNN.

High School student, Nicholas Sandmann slams $275 million defamation lawsuit on CNN

High School student, Nicholas Sandmann slams $275 million defamation lawsuit on CNN
Covington Catholic High School student, Nicholas Sandmann has sued CNN for defamation accusing the cable news giant of “bullying” him in its coverage of a January confrontation at the Lincoln Memorial.
The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Kentucky, seeks $275 million in damages, $25 million more than in the teen’s lawsuit against the Washington Post.
Sandman’s attorneys have alleged that CNN “ignored the facts” and waged a “7-day media campaign of false, vicious attacks against Nicholas, a young boy who was guilty of little more than wearing a souvenir Make America Great Again cap.”
According to the lawsuit, “the CNN accusations are totally and unequivocally false, and CNN would have known them to be untrue had it undertaken any reasonable efforts to verify their accuracy before publication”.
On January 18, Sandmann, 16, participated in the March for Life, an anti-abortion rally outside the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC, with his Kentucky classmates. At one point, he was confronted by Nathan Phillips, a 64-year-old Native American protester.
A misleading video of the standoff quickly went viral, and major news outlets helped perpetuate a false narrative that cast the students as aggressors and made Sandmann an instant poster boy for bigotry in President Donald Trump’s America.
Additional videos and accounts soon made it clear that Phillips initiated the standoff and later misrepresented what happened. Some journalists, commentators, and celebrities responded to updated evidence by amending their views, and in some cases even apologizing.

An independent investigation undertaken by the Catholic Diocese of Covington later cleared the boys of any wrongdoing in the confrontation, setting the stage for the lawsuits. Sandmann’s attorneys have said they are considering suing HBO late-night host Bill Maher.

'Federal Attorney General, Abubakar Malami is acting beyond his powers In demanding $2 Billion from us' - MTN

Rob Shuter, chief executive officer of MTN Group, says Abubakar Malami, attorney-general of the federation (AGF), is “playing games” over the federal government’s demand of $2 billion tax arrears from the company.
Shuter who spoke at a conference call where MTN’s 2018 annual results were presented to executives and stakeholders of the company.
In September 2018, Malami had written to MTN Nigeria,  demanding a payment of $2 billion in tax arrears. He broke the amount down to a 10-year period for import duties, value added tax (VAT) and withholding taxes on foreign imports/payments.
MTN Nigeria had denied any wrongdoing, saying it had fully settled all outstanding taxes. The telco also sued the AGF. Reiterating the company’s stance, Shuter described the legal process as “odd,” adding that the attorney-general had no right to collect tax on behalf of government.

He said MTN is a responsible company whose tax assessments sre in line with the requirements of the relevant authorities.

“I think if you look at our history for complicated tax disputes they can take years, because you end up going through this tribunal, that tribunal etc,” the transcript read.
“Now, of course what’s odd about the Nigeria situation is it’s not the Commissioner for Inland Revenue that we have the dispute with. It’s the Attorney General, who is really not mandated to collect tax.
“So the legal process is basically saying you’re playing a game that you’re not meant to be playing. And when we talk to the tax authorities they have no particular quarrel with where we are with our various assessments.
“So either we get the thing chucked out early on and the issue is finished, or it is just one of these lingering things that rolls around in the system for a while. And personally I don’t know which way it’s going to play out.
“I’m just absolutely adamant that we’re a responsible company, we have paid the taxes we had to pay, and the tax authorities themselves aren’t saying that we owe them anything. So I think we’ve just got to stare this one down.”
Commenting on the issue, Ralph Mupita, MTN’s chief financial officer said: “The audit committees of both Nigeria and group, as you can well imagine, have gone through this very thoroughly in terms of all our tax exposures. And it’s the second time we’ve looked at this.
“We looked at it at the half year when it was then a tax assessment before the letters came in August. But we still believe there isn’t even a remote exposure that we would put in contingent liabilities. But I think it’s important to re-emphasise the point Rob raised.
“In the course of having any tax disputes with the authorities these things can take years. So if this thing rolls on it’s no different from a transfer pricing matter you may have a dispute with an authority in country x, y, z.”
The hearing of the suit against the AGF first scheduled for November 8, 2018, has been adjourned to March 26.

Hundreds of people protested outside a court of appeal in the Italian city of Ancona on Monday, March 11, after it emerged that two men were cleared of rape charges after judges ruled the alleged victim was "too masculine" and the men were not attracted to her.

The reasons behind the 2017 ruling were only discovered last Friday, when Italy’s highest appeal court ordered a retrial of the case, the Cronoche Ancona daily reports.
Protestors outside the court on Monday.
The men had initially been convicted in 2016 of raping the woman, then aged 22, in 2015, but the Ancona appeals court later threw out the charges.
The judges stated that said the woman’s story was not believable as she was “too masculine” and that the men didn't find her attractive.
The woman had claimed one of the men raped her while the other stood guard after they had spiked her drink with drugs.
Doctors said her injuries were consistent with rape, and found traces of a date rape drug in her blood.
But the judges ruled it was "not possible to exclude the possibility that was" the alleged victim who "organised the 'exhuberent' evening," according to the reports.
They said he man accused of rape "didn't even like the girl, to the point of having stored her number in his phone under the nickname 'Viking', an allusion to an anything but feminine figure, rather a masculine one".
"The photograph present in her file would appear to confirm this," they added.
The case will be reheard from scratch by a court in Perugia at at date yet to be determined.

Protesters from Rebel Network, the Italian womens' rights group that organised the protest, wrote on Twitter:
“Rape does not fulfil a desire for pleasure, but an abominable hatred and contempt for the victim. It does not depend on how feminine you are, but on the hatred inside the rapist.”
