A Ghanaian teacher who went viral after sharing photos of himself drawing MS Word software onto a blackboard during a class has caught the attention of the tech giant, Microsoft.
The young teacher, Owura Kwadwo Hottish's photos were widely shared on Facebook, Twitter, blogs, with many praising his dedication.
His dedication impressed Microsoft staff, Rebecca Enonchong, who tweeted the company will equip Kwadwo with a device to help him during his lessons.
Kwadwo posted the photos on his Facebook page on February 15, to share what it was like to teach computer lessons without actually having a computer.
"Teaching of ICT in Ghana's school is very funny. ICT on the board paa. I love ma students so have to do wat will make them understand Wat am teaching. #committedteacher #ICTontheboard #Teacherkwadwo" he wrote.
According to Quartz, Kwadwo said the school had not had a computer since 201, despite the requirement for students to pass am information and technology (ICT) exam at part of their progression to high school.
