Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh has disclosed that he is being owed for
three months while dismissing claims that the Nigeria Football
Federation had paid him upfront.
He said he was upset with the situation and that his employers are not giving him hope to continue the job.
“When it comes to money, I am disappointed because based on what I'm
being owed I should have stopped working, my assistants should also
stop working,” Oliseh told FootballLive.ng.
“They make people think I was paid in advance, which is not so and
am still waiting to be paid. The only thing is that I just decided not
to go public with it.”
His assistants Jean Louiscuito, Salisu Yusuf and Alloy Agu are yet to get their money for the past six months.
One of his assistants said the Super Eagles B are being owed two
match bonuses and claimed it could mar the team’s preparation for next
year’s African Nations Championship in Rwanda.
