Pep Guardiola bans Man City players from eating pizza & banishes overweight players like Nasri from first team

Pep Guardiola, who has succeeded Manuel Pellegrini as manager at Man City following three seasons in charge of Bayern Munich, has imposed a strict fitness regime at Manchester City that includes players being forced to train away from the first-team if they are overweight. Pep has also banned his players from eating pizza and high calorie juices too.

Samir Nasri is one of those Guardiola has ordered to lose weight and the 29-year-old must shed the pounds before he can rejoin his team-mates in training.
“On the field, outside the field, every detail counts,” Man City defender Gael Clichy said. For example, you often hear managers say being healthy is really important. With him, if you’re weight is too high, you’re not training with the team. That is the first thing and you can hear it a lot, but for my part it’s the first time any manager has really done it. So we have a few players who are not training with the team yet.”
“He cut out some juice and pizza and all the heavy food is not allowed,” said the 31-year-old France international. Some people think: ‘That’s normal, it should be like this.’ But in truth it’s not always like this and I know because I’ve been playing football for a long time. It’s really refreshing and very exciting.”
“He’s an ideal manager for any kind of player. The goalkeeper needs to be better with their feet, the centre-backs are improving, the full-backs are important, the centre midfield – he said something like if he could play 11 midfielders, he would play them, so I guess for a midfielder it’s unbelievable. And the strikers are going to score a lot of goals because we are going to create a lot of chances. I can even tell you that the assistant manager will improve so he’s the kind of guy that, if you’re lucky to work with him during your career, he is someone you will remember for a long time because he’s truly impressive.”
“I’ve been lucky because I’ve trained only a few weeks with Guardiola and I was eight years with Wenger,” he said. “There are a lot of similarities between the two but also so much difference. In eight or nine years, Guardiola has won pretty much everything and he’s changed the way we see football.
“He was probably one of the first to bring the full-backs really high, to put a midfield player as a centre-back. It’s a step forward. Wenger, years ago, brought something back from wherever he was [France and Japan] into English football and kind of changed the way people see football. I guess the two of them are just great managers but you could say the same for Ferguson and Mourinho.
“Every manager has their own philosophy and for sure he’s coming with his own ideas and it’s quite refreshing for us.”

Terrifying moment surfers paddle for their lives as a four-metre shark hunts them

These shocking images taken by a surf photographer in Perth, Australia, shows a four-metre long shark cutting through the water as a group of terrified surfers desperately try to paddle to safety after they realized what they were sharing the surf with.

Rick Knoppert, the photographer who captured the incredible pictures at popular surfing spot Mettams pool, said that he was there to snap big waves and never thought he would capture such a close-call on camera.

Rick who spoke to WA Today said:
“There was no surf around. Then I saw the guys making a beeline for the beach. I thought that was strange so I started photographing and lo and behold, this is what I got.
“It was all over in five minutes. It was exciting for the guys surfing , they got really buzzed.”
Rick sent the scary snaps to the Department of Fisheries which estimated the beast to be up to four metres long. And while the shark’s breed could not be determined, the photographer believes it could be a bronze whaler following a number of sightings in the area in recent weeks.

Rick also believes the shark didn’t pose any danger to the surfers. he said:
“It was chasing fish around. At one point, a big fish jumped up in front of it – I didn’t get that shot, unfortunately.”

The surfers return to shore elated from the experience while beach goers try to snap the shark

Michael Jordan finally speaks out...

The basketball legend has been criticized for years for remaining neutral on social issues affecting the Black community despite earning a lot of money for American youths clamoring for his expensive sneakers. Jordan has decided it's time to speak up...

In an open penned for The Undefeated Michael Jordan writes,

As a proud American, a father who lost his own dad in a senseless act of violence, and a black man, I have been deeply troubled by the deaths of African-Americans at the hands of law enforcement and angered by the cowardly and hateful targeting and killing of police officers. I grieve with the families who have lost loved ones, as I know their pain all too well.
“I was raised by parents who taught me to love and respect people regardless of their race or background, so I am saddened and frustrated by the divisive rhetoric and racial tensions that seem to be getting worse as of late. I know this country is better than that, and I can no longer stay silent. We need to find solutions that ensure people of color receive fair and equal treatment AND that police officers – who put their lives on the line every day to protect us all – are respected and supported.
“Over the past three decades I have seen up close the dedication of the law enforcement officers who protect me and my family. I have the greatest respect for their sacrifice and service. I also recognize that for many people of color their experiences with law enforcement have been different than mine. I have decided to speak out in the hope that we can come together as Americans, and through peaceful dialogue and education, achieve constructive change.
“To support that effort, I am making contributions of $1 million each to two organizations, the International Association of Chiefs of Police’s newly established Institute for Community-Police Relations and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. The Institute for Community-Police Relations’ policy and oversight work is focused on building trust and promoting best practices in community policing. My donation to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, the nation’s oldest civil rights law organization, will support its ongoing work in support of reforms that will build trust and respect between communities and law enforcement. Although I know these contributions alone are not enough to solve the problem, I hope the resources will help both organizations make a positive difference.
“We are privileged to live in the world’s greatest country – a country that has provided my family and me the greatest of opportunities. The problems we face didn’t happen overnight and they won’t be solved tomorrow, but if we all work together, we can foster greater understanding, positive change and create a more peaceful world for ourselves, our children, our families and our communities.”

Demi Lovato calls out Perez Hilton for liking a tweet, Perez slams her, calls her petty

Remember last month when Demi Lovato came to the defense of her friend Ariana Grande, when an Instragram user said Ariana was a watered down version of Marey Carey?

Lovato then noted that she believed Grande was nothing like Carey, whom she refered to as nasty for her dismissive attitude toward Jennifer Lopez and being rude generally. Well Monday, US celebrity blogger , Perez Hilton liked a tweet that linked Carey and Lovato together again.

So Demi Lovato DMd Perez to let the incident go, but rather than apologize, Perez attacked Demi and even revealed the DM they both exchanged in private.

Hillary and her devious DNC disciples cant be trusted if they can stab a good man like Bernie in the back- Piers Morgan

This is a post by Piers Morgan for Daily Mail Online, about US Democratic presidential candidate Hilary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, the leaked emails by WikiLeaks which revealed that the DNC chairman rigged the primaries, called African Americans racist names, questioned Bernie Sanders' faith and the ongoing Democratic National Convention which started on Monday. He wrote:
The narrative of this presidential race has been set in stone for several years: Hillary Clinton WILL be the next President of the United States. This has been the widely held, inherently-understood belief amongst all the ‘smart’ political, media and celebrity elite in Washington, New York and Hollywood. Oh sure, there will still have to be a contest of some sort.
But Hillary’s victory in this election is, to them, the biggest nailed down in-the-bag certainty since the Warriors went 3-1 up in the recent NBA Finals and Stephen Curry’s name was being slowly engraved on the MVP trophy. Oh. Wait a moment. Hold those horses. Or, as Goldfinger used to say to 007: ‘Not so fast, Mr Bond…’ We all remember what happened at the NBA Finals; LeBron James suddenly morphed into Superman to wrestle back a 4-3 win for the Cavs and snatch the MVP title for himself from a distraught Curry. Proof, not that any was really needed, that there really is no such thing as a certainty in either sport or politics. Particularly when you have an opponent bursting with self-confidence who defies the conventional rules of engagement and simply refuses to bow down even in the face of apparently inevitable defeat. Like LeBron James, and in his own way, Donald Trump.
As Trump moves ahead of Hillary in the polls for the first time, enjoying the traditional post-convention bounce, I am smelling a similar dramatic upset at the general election in November and if my nostrils are correct, then Hillary will have only herself to blame. The shocking sense of entitlement that pervades from every pore of this Democrat nominee and her supporters is almost overwhelming. Nowhere has this been more lamentably confirmed than in the sudden avalanche of 20,000 emails revealed by Wikileaks late last week, which laid bare a distinctly unpleasant Clinton-ite underbelly to the Democrats. Hillary’s Democratic National Committee wild attack dogs, led by chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, went after her rival Bernie Sanders like they were hunting down an elderly buffalo in the prairies of South Africa. Nothing was off limits, not even his personal religious faith. ‘Does he believe in a god,’ wrote one staffer, the DNC’s chief financial officer Brad Marshall. ‘He had skated on saying he has a Jewish heritage.
‘I think I read he is an atheist. This could make several points difference with my peeps. My Southern Baptist peeps would draw a big difference between a Jew and an atheist.’ The chief executive of the DNC, Amy Dacey, replied with one word: ‘Amen.’ Another staffer, national communications director Luis Miranda, regularly exchanged emails with reporters directly briefing against Sanders. Isn’t this just utterly disgraceful?
These DNC staffers are supposed to be candidate neutral. But such was their obsession with the presumed ‘Hillary Will Be President’ premise, they couldn’t stop themselves chewing up and smearing a brave, decent, inspiring 75-year-old man who at the very least surely deserved a fair fight within his own party.
I interviewed Debbie Wasserman Schultz many times during my tenure at CNN. She was always a good guest, forcefully presenting her opinion and arguing strongly with other pundits of a different political persuasion.
But there was a certain zealotry to her work, particularly when it came to defending Hillary Clinton. I got the firm impression she would do literally anything to ensure a Clinton win in 2016. And indeed, it turns out she did, even if by doing so she has now wrecked her career and dragged both the DNC and Clinton herself by association into serious disrepute.
Even worse, it will almost certainly cost Hillary much-needed votes from Bernie supporters who made their fury felt today by loudly booing when he called for them to back the nominee. This latest email scandal couldn’t come at a worse time for Hillary, as the Democratic National Convention starts in Philadelphia. The problem is that she’s still desperately trying to run on a ‘Trust’ platform. Trump’s a very bad guy who can’t be trusted, she keeps reminding us. Only she can be trusted with serious stuff like the nuclear button, she insists.
Only she has the experience required to occupy the White House. Etc. But for this stance to be effective, Hillary herself has to be viewed as more trustworthy than Trump and the latest CNN poll published today shows she isn’t. It revealed that only 3 out of 10 Americans find her ‘honest and trustworthy’, a staggeringly low number for a woman who wants us to believe she’s the Trust candidate.

$250,000 car gets windshield SMASHED by kid on a skateboard

Footage of this incident has divided the internet as to who  should be blamed. According to the person who recorded the video, the driver of a $250K McLaren MP4-12C drove through a stop sign and caused a young skater to fall off his skateboard. The driver beeps his horn and yells at the boy who is in no mood for it so he smashes the car's windscreen with his skateboard and runs off.

Filming vertically, he missed the actual moment the teen hurled his skateboard at the window, although the sound of the smash can clearly be heard.

YouTube user Paul Gonzo recorded the incident which unfolded in Denver.

As Mr Gonzo explains: 'I was catching a video of the sunset saw this McLaren run a stop sign and make a kid fall off his skateboard. You can hear the skateboard in the video. The passenger of the McLaren yelled something at him and the next thing I heard was a smash! The windshield was completely shattered.

'Kid took off running and the passenger ran after him. No idea what ended up happening after the car drove off. I guess the lesson here is don't run stop signs!'

The video has now gone viral receiving over 750,000 views after it was posted on social media.
