'My brother it’s just so unfortunate. I don't know where it is coming from. I'm trying to think of different reasons. I thought maybe his account was hacked or something. Apparently it wasn’t hacked, so we'll trash the whole matter.. but I've got nothing but love and respect for him and it's just so unfortunate that he's coming at me like that.'
When asked if he still considers him (Blackface) a friend, 2face said 'Apparently he doesn’t consider me his friend anymore but I wish him no ill-will. Let’s leave it like that for now.'

We are far from where we are hoping to get to' - Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh

Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has indicated his worry at the form of the home based Super Eagles in the ongoing African Cup of Natiopns for home based players (CHAN). Sunday Oliseh's team will take on Guinea tomorrow in their last Group C match of the CAF Africa Nations Championship in Rwanda but says he and the technical crew are wary of injuries as the players are feeling the effects of playing on a synthetic turf.

Super Eagles as well as Guinea will qualify to the quarter finals with a win in tomorrow's game. The Super Eagles need at least a draw to move to the next round. A win will see them, topping the group.
“We have what it takes to get all the three points in Tuesday’s game against Guinea. But then again, it depends on the form of the day. We are far from where we are hoping to get to. That’s why the two players (Muhammed Usman and Chisom Chikatara) trained separately. You know that we played on a synthetic pitch, so they are feeling some pains in the groin. You saw in the game against Tunisia where we took Usman out due to the pains he felt in his groin. Chikatara is also feeling it. But the doctor said they should be okay. Hopefully, they will be fit for Tuesday,” Oliseh said.

'How my Naija husband saved me from my mum' - Kenyan woman writes

"I am one of those people who say they got pregnant by accident. I got pregnant at 19 just in my second year of university. I didn’t expect to get pregnant because I took the necessary precautions. From the beginning I wasn’t sure in my mind whether I should keep the baby. The father had already denied me.
I didn’t have a father figure in my life so I didn’t know what to do. I thought of how I was going to tell my mom, I didn’t know how she would react, especially being that I am the first and only child. I didn’t even know where to start. I felt I had already let her down.

WORST FEAR
My worst fear became a reality; my mom became harsh with me. It was like a switch in her flipped. She even refused to be associated with me.
She didn’t want a kid who was in my kind of situation; forced to drop out of school in second year. She abused me, verbally and physically.
I had never seen this side of my mother. We only had each other and I thought that would never change. Yet there she was, the one person I thought would always be there for me, turning her back on me.

RAN AWAY

Everything was too much. I ran away. I had to escape because even my own mother wanted me to get rid of the baby. I had already made up my mind that I was going to have it. With some money saved up, I decided to start a small business. I prepared chips and crisps and sold them. I rented a shack and used it as my house, paying Kshs. 1,500 rent every month. I had to survive. I couldn’t let my baby down.

Through a friend I found out my aunt had relocated to Nairobi. I was unsure on how she would react to me being pregnant. She was very close to my mom. I took the risk and went to see her; I had nothing to lose and everything to gain.
My aunt decided to secretly help me because she knew I didn’t want my mother getting involved. She used to visit me in my shack, every day until I gave birth.

SAVING GRACE

Giving me advice and checking on how baby and I were doing. She was the saving grace that I badly needed. I had no one. She gave me the love and care that my own mother denied me. When I finally gave birth, I couldn’t imagine that I wanted to get rid of someone so innocent. I imagined how I would have felt if I got an abortion. It made me hate myself for a while. I had to find a way to love myself again. It helped that no one in the area knew my story. They just saw me as a stranger with a baby.

Then I met a man. He always wondered how such a young girl was so stressed. I told him my story, he told me his. I kept on asking myself why anyone would be interested in someone like me. As time went by, we became friends. I didn’t have friends. I had been rejected by everyone and was raising a baby on my own.

NAIJA MAN
He was nice to me and wanted to take care of me. He sort of felt sorry for me. He gave us-my baby and I- an apartment to live in. He also sent me money. Enough money to ensure the baby got everything she needed. I was even able to finish my education.
He took me to Nigeria and gave me money to start my own salon business. When he asked me to marry him, how could I refuse?
He took me and my baby in as his own. He took us from nothing and gave us everything. I knew for once, God remembered that I exist."

Sweden plans to expel up to 80,000 asylum-seekers

Sweden intends to expel up to 80,000 migrants who arrived in 2015 and whose application for asylum has been rejected, Interior Minister Anders Ygeman said Wednesday.
"We are talking about 60,000 people but the number could climb to 80,000," the minister was quoted as saying by Swedish media, adding that the government had asked the police and authorities in charge of migrants to organise their expulsion.
The proposed measure was announced as Europe struggles to deal with a crisis that has seen tens of thousands of migrants arrive on Greek beaches, with the passengers -- mostly fleeing conflict in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan -- undeterred by cold wintry conditions.

The UN says more than 46,000 people have arrived in Greece so far this year, with more than 170 people killed making the dangerous crossing.

Ygeman said the expulsions, normally carried out using commercial flights, would have to be done using specially chartered aircraft, given the large numbers, staggered over several years.
Sweden, which is home to 9.8 million people, is one of the European Union countries that has taken in the largest number of refugees in relation to its population. Sweden accepted more than 160,000 asylum seekers last year.

But the number of migrant arrivals has dropped dramatically since Sweden enacted systematic photo ID checks on travellers on January 4.

Swedish officials on Tuesday called for greater security at overcrowded asylum centres a day after the fatal stabbing of an employee at a refugee centre for unaccompanied youths.
The alleged attacker was a young male residing at a centre for youngsters aged 14 to 17 in Molndal near Gothenburg on Sweden's west coast.

The employee was 22-year-old Alexandra Mezher, according to Swedish media reports, whose family was originally from Lebanon. A motive for the attack was not immediately clear.
Her death has led to questions about overcrowded conditions inside some centres, with too few adults and employees to take care of children, many traumatised by war.

In neighbouring Denmark, meanwhile, the government this week approved legislation to seize the valuables of refugees in the hope of limiting the flow of migrants.

London to LA plane turns around as passengers & crew fall ill, then air is tested before paramedics are let on & luggage seized for checks

There was a strange occurrence on American Airlines Flight AA109 from London to Los Angeles. 6 cabin crew members and two passengers suddenly fell ill, forcing the plane to declare an emergency landing and return to London. When they landed at Heathrow, passengers said they were not told anything other than they should remain in their seats. An official from the London Fire service got onboard the plane to carry out tests on the air inside the cabin before passengers were allowed to disembark but their luggage was confiscated for analysis.

Panicked passengers told of the moment a plea went out for any doctors on-board the American Airlines flight, before the captain declared a 'medical emergency' and returned to London.

American Airlines has so far refused to speculate on what may have caused people to feel unwell, saying only that 'paramedics evaluated passengers and crew. None requested further medical attention.'

See this Indian grandfather's death defying yoga routine

Khiv Raj Gurjar, from Jodhpur in the Indian state of Rajasthan, has taken extreme yoga to new heights - literally. He spends an hour each day striking yoga poses on a bicycle perched precipitously on the edge of a 300ft cliff.

He said: “When I balance and perform complex yoga postures on a cliff, I don’t feel fear or think that I will fall from this mountain.

"I can do anything on this mountain. I don’t panic anymore.”
It does help that he has 20 years of experience to keep him from plunging to a rocky death but that's not all, for Khiv, the practice serves as therapy to help him cope with intense personal tragedy.
On November 4, 2014, Khiv lost his son, grandson and wife in a road accident.
“It was terrible accident and it will take time to heal,” he said.

Khiv began practicing yoga at the age of 12, and says he has been visiting the cliff where he does his stunts since childhood.
“As a child, I used to come here from school. Then I brought a BMX cycle and started doing extreme yoga,” he said.

“I am confident that I will not fall, I believe in myself.”

A man of many talents, Khiv has represented his country at a national level as a cyclist and even competed in his country's national football league.

You'd think his family would have gotten used to his extreme routine but for them, the apprehension is ever present.
His granddaughter Yoga Gurjar, 15, says she is proud of her grandfather and wants to imitate his feats - but does worry that he will hurt himself.

She says, “I feel a bit scared when my grandfather performs these kind of stances, but I feel also proud because he is the source of inspiration for me and he is the person I want be when I grow old.
“I also want to perform like him. Having a grandfather who does stunts on mountains is like having an in-house superhero.”

Man United players reveal why they are promoting Leonardo DiCaprio's new film on Twitter

Manchester United have entered into a partnership with film company 20th Century Fox ahead of the release of movie The Revenant.
Several Red Devils stars have promoted the Leonardo DiCaprio film on their Twitter pages ahead of its release on Thursday.

Chris Smalling, Memphis Depay, Morgan Schneiderlin, Matteo Darmian, Ashley Young and Juan Mata have all promoted the movie.

United did not formally announce the partnership, since the studio preferred the club's players - and ambassadors Bryan Robson and Andy Cole - to endorse the film on social media.

United's players were not paid to plug the film, reports the Manchester Evening News.

The irony is 20th Century Fox's chairman, Rupert Murdoch, attempted to take over United via British Sky Broadcasting in 1998, only for the Monopolies and Mergers Commission to block the deal in April 1999.

US author writes scathing article...gives 15 reasons why real men shouldn't date single mothers

An American author named Shawn James this week wrote a controversial essay titled 'Why Real Men Avoid Single Mothers' - detailing 15 reasons why men should not date single mothers. It's got people talking. Read below and tell us what you think...(If you're a single mother, you won't like this..:-))
1. Never Available. A single Mother’s schedule is never open. Single mothers are the kind of women to always cancel dates at the last minute. Something always gets in the way of a man spending time with her. It’s hard to have a relationship with her because she’s never there.
2. YOU are NOT a priority. Usually in a relationship the man winds up DEAD LAST. Behind, her kids, her job, the car, the kitchen sink, the stopped up toilet. Even the dog gets more attention and affection than a man involved with a single mother. Any man who gets involved with a single mother winds up a fifth stringer in a relationship. And he rarely ever gets called up to play.

3. Thinks the world revolves around HER and ONLY HER. A single mother is one of the biggest narcissists on the dating scene. She often thinks that a man has to drop everything in his life to be part of hers and her kids. They’re so selfish they don’t think a man has needs, wants or a life of his own. He’s just supposed to be there to give her everything she wants in life.

4. Emotionally Unavailable- Most Single mothers cannot form an intimate connection with a man because her feelings are invested in other people. Usually her primary focus is on her children.
In addition to dedicating herself to her children, most single mothers have given their hearts to someone else- their children’s father. And those feelings she still has for him will always prevent her from getting closer to you. There will always be some distance between a single mother and the new man in her life.

5. The ex/ Baby Daddy is ALWAYS THERE. A man just doesn’t deal with a single mother. He deals with her ex or her baby daddy as well. And this guy is always hovering around like a helicopter looking to c*ckblock you. Some of these guys still think they have a shot at getting back with her. Others just don’t want to see her happy. A lot of these dudes want to f!ght over her.
Seriously, it’s a game they’re playing with each other. And they’ll be playing that game with each other until their children turn 18 or 21. Head for the exit. It’s just not worth dealing with this fool and his insecure bullshyt.

6. The kids are working AGAINST YOU When dealing with a single mother you also deal with Kids. Kids who still in their little heart of hearts think that Dad will come back and love them.
Seriously, GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE.

7. Those kids will HATE YOU. They will act out to keep you from getting closer to mommy. They will make accusations against you to get you in trouble. Again, it’s just not worth dealing with the bullsh*t to get with a female. There are four billion women in the world. You can find a quality female who doesn’t carry all this baggage or give you this much grief.

8. Entitled attitude Single mothers think because she had a baby out of wedlock the world owes her EVERYTHING. And she thinks she’s the one who deserves the best. Even though she’s usually collecting welfare, food stamps, or child support, in eyes she’s still supposed to be treated like she’s a queen because she popped a kid out of her v*gina.
In their deluded distorted vision of the world Men are still supposed to take her out to the finest restaurants and buy them lots of expensive stuff. And he’s supposed to take care of her kids too, buying them whatever they want while taking a blind eye to their bad behavior.

9. Distorted self-image Single mothers still thinks she’s as sexy like she was before she had a baby. Only she doesn’t understand how her body has changed. In some cases for the worse.
Single mothers are the type to try to squeeze themselves into sexy outfits like low-rise jeans and cropped T-shirts to show off their belly button, not seeing the muffin top and stretch marks squeezing out over the top of their pants. They’re the type to stuff themselves into slinky spandex dresses, (not aware of that gut, and the cellulite on their asses) and head out to the club. She thinks men are supposed to run up on her offering to buy her drinks. And because a few thirsty simps step to her, she thinks she’s still got it. But the only people who wants what she has to offer are scavengers at the bottom of the social scene.

10. Always the victim. Single Mothers never take responsibility for their actions. The situation they’re in is always the fault of that “no good man”, “these damn kids” their mother or someone else. They never take any time to do any self-examination or make any efforts to change their lives. They’re still looking for some Rich Incredibly Handsome Man™ to put on a cape and play Captain Save-A-Hoe™, sweep her off her feet and take her out of the troubling situation she helped make.

11. Jekyll & Hyde Personality. A single mother will be the sweetest thing when a man first dates her, but a few months into a relationship she turns into a NUTJOB. A man will usually see glimpses of this when she chastises her kids when he first meets them. During that meeting she’ll yell at them and bully them to get them to act right while praising a man like he’s an angel.
It’s all an act. Heaven will turn into Hell around the six month mark.
Once a single mother gets a man settled into her life it’s not common for her to start verbally abusing him and mocking him as she projects all that pent-up rage from those previous failed relationships onto him. And it’s usually around this point that most men realize why this woman is single and why it’s time for him to hit the exit door.

12. Drama Queen. Because a single mother always sees herself as a victim of society, she’s always talking about her problems. And she always has a new trouble to bring everyone. There’s never a good day in the life of a single mother because there’s always some new crisis about to emerge in her life.
The reason single mothers need the drama is because it makes them feel important. It makes people pay attention to them. And when Captain-Save-A-Hoe™ is doting on them trying to solve their problems it makes them feel an artificial sense of value. They need that value to deflects people’s attention from how pathetic their lives actually are.
Manipulative In most cases, a single mother has no interest in a man she’s dating. In a lot of cases she’s just using a guy as a pawn.

13. In most cases she’s dating to make her Baby Baddy jealous. Deep down in her heart of hearts she believes that if she’s seen with someone else who sees her as valuable that he’ll see her as valuable and take her back.
In other cases when she’s not trying to get a rise out of Baby Daddy she’s playing the sympathy card™ using a guy to get gifts, free dinners and free drinks out of him. To a single mother, The men in her lives are just human ATM machines where she whispers a sweet nothing in his ear like a PIN number and money comes out of his wallet.
And because she’s a drama queen who loves to play the victim, the Single mother plays to men’s emotions to get them to react in the way she wants. It’s not common for a single mother to tell her man man about her baby daddy so he can go f!ght him. Or pit two baby daddies against each other. Many a man has wound up either dead or in prison because a single Mother played the victim card™.

14. Dishonest. A single mother is a LIAR. It’s how she gets what she wants. It’s how she manipulates people. It’s how she takes care of her kids. It’s how she survives in this world.
Single mothers lie. And they LIE ALL THE TIME. They lie to men about their age, their height, their weight, how many kids they have, the job they do.
On top of the lies they tell to others They lie to themselves. They lie about about how beautiful they are. They lie telling themselves they’re still a catch. They lie telling themselves they still have a chance with a good man. They lie telling themselves that their lives will be happily ever after one day.
The horrible truth is without those lies most of those single mothers would realize how pathetic their lives are. How they have no options in the dating scene. That they’re at the bottom of the barrel in the dating scene and the only men who want them are pathetic Manginas and thirsty Simps.

15. Carries Baggage, baggage and more baggage A single mother has more issues than Time and Newsweek combined. And when she’s looking for a man, she’s not looking for an equal caring partner. She’s looking for a Pullman Porter™ to take care of her kids, and clean up her messes with her childrens’ father. Brothers, don’t let yourself get sized up for the white jacket and the bow tie!
Anyway, dealing with a single mother is like walking through a minefield. After several months of being involved with her, it leaves a man anxious and tense because he doesn’t know where to step that won’t lead to an explosion that k!lls him.

That’s why Real Men avoid single mothers like disease.

Real men understand life is too short to put up with someone’s drama and their emotional baggage. We only have a limited time on God’s Earth and who wants to spend it being a Pullman Porter cleaning up someone else’s messes. As I stated before in a previous blog, let that woman take her run over Jimmy Choos and clean up her own mess. She made her bed, now let her lie in the wet spot.

Don’t date single mothers and don’t waste your time with them. There are four billion women in this world. If you’re patient, you’ll find a good one.
