14 year old Nigerian-America filmmaker and writer, Zuriel Oduwole has met with the US Secretary of State, John Kerry.
Zuriel Oduwole is popular for her education advocacy campaign and for being the youngest filmmaker to have a self-produced and self-edited work among other achievements.
Sharing photos from her visit, Zuriel wrote,
"Met John Kerry - US Secretary of State. Happy New year to you all and hope you had a Merry and Safe Christmas. I am just so very, very thankful to the LORD for where he is taking me and what he wants to do in the lives of the youth of this world today. I just met with the US Secretary of State, John Kerry in his office in Washington DC. Some of you might think so, you've already met 23 World Leaders and recently spoke at the UN. This is very different. Secretary Kerry's decisions affects the whole worlds foreign and economic policy. And next to President Obama, he is the most visible member of the US Government leadership. The whole world knows who he is. What's so cool is we talked about Girls Education, and all the State Department has done the last 4 years on this serious topic. Like me, he believes if all people in a society are included, especially Girls and Women, then that society does much better. I believe that so much. That's another reason I am teaching young children some basic film making skills, so they can add to their society's development. We all can do something very small, to empower others, or encourage others. I truly believe so"

A 25 year old woman, Antonieta Robles Saouda was arrested after she tried to break her boyfriend out of prison by stuffing him into a pink suitcase and trying to wheel him out. Saouda took her 6-year-old daughter to visit her boyfriend, Ibrain Jose Vargas Garcia at the Jose Antonio Anzoategui prison in Venezuela with the plan to smuggle him out of the facility and live happily ever after as a happy family.She successfully managed to get him into the suitcase but was unable to wheel him out of the prison because the bag was overstuffed and she didn't have the strength to successfully wheel him out. According to Central European News agency, her prison-break plan was foiled when the prison guards noticed that she was struggling with the suitcase and asked to inspect it.When they unzipped it, they discovered Garcia curled up inside.Garcia was immediately thrown back in his prison cell, where he was already serving a nearly 10-year sentence for a car robbery while Saouda was arrested and their daughter was taken into temporary custody by Venezuelan social services.
Authorities in Zimbabwe has announced that a small aircraft transporting $1 million worth of 22 kg gold from Bulawayo to Harare on Tuesday crash-landed due to engine failure. The Cessna 206 aircraft, which had two people on board, crash-landed in Kennilworth, Bubi District in Matabeleland North. A 33-year-old British man accused of possessing 9,000 extreme indecent images and films of children on his phone, memory stick, and laptop has appeared at the Tyneside Magistrates Court. The man identified as David Carey from Longenton, who is being faced with nine charges for the alleged offences which took place between November 1, 2012, and February 25, 2016, at his home, only confirmed his name and told the court his date of birth and address.David withheld his plea to one count of distributing an indecent image of a child, three of making an indecent image/pseudo-photograph of a child, three of possessing an indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child, one of possessing an extreme pornographic image, which involved sexual activity with an animal, and one of possessing a prohibited image of a child.Laura Lax, the prosecuting officer at the court, said the case was beyond the court sentencing before transferring it to the Newcastle Crown Court.
'These charges are not suitable to be dealt with at this court, there's a number of charges. It's allegedly about 9,000 images and some are extreme. 'There's also a charge of distribution of a small amount of category A images, it's clearly beyond any potential sentencing powers of this court.'
David Carey who was granted a conditional bail will next appear at the Newcastle Crown Court on February 1.Source: Daily Mail.
Prostitution is legal in Germany, there are brothels in almost every town and recently, working girls are offering 'sexual assistance' to dementia sufferers, the handicapped and people living in care homes. If you think that is shocking then wait for what comes next.Under plans proposed by the German Green Party, sex with prostitutes will be paid for by the Government for anyone too poor to afford a prostitute and those deemed to need sexual assistance.
The party's care spokeswoman Elisabeth Scharfenberg says doctors should have the right to issue free prescriptions to their patients who need the services of prostitutes. Services in German brothels. range from 'affectionate touching' to bondage, fetishism and full sex. But no law exists for the client to claim the costs of his or her visit as a medical expense.All that is set to change if the German Green Party gets its way.Their proposal is not a new one, it has been in place in the neighbouring Netherlands for some time. Spokeswoman Scharfenberg said in an article:
'I can imagine a public financing of sexual assistance.' 'Municipalities could discuss appropriate offers on site and grants they would need.'
The party's plans consists of patients obtaining a medical certificate confirming that 'they are unable to achieve sexual satisfaction in other ways, as well as to prove they are not able to pay sex workers on their own'.Professor Wilhelm Frieling-Sonnenberg, a medical care specialist has frowned upon the idea calling it 'contemptuous towards human dignity and a way to placate troublesome patients'.
