'Man Utd must match my ambition if they want me to stay, I didn't come here to waste time'- Zlatan Ibrahimovic rages

Man U's highest goal scorer this season and football's king of egotism, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has sounded a warning note to Manchester United and Jose Mourinho, that he'll only remain with the club beyond this season if they match up with his ambition.
Ibrahimovic, 35, has won all the major titles in club football with previous clubs, Barcelona, PSG, Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan and Ac Milan and with his contract set to expire this summer, has been loinked with a move to LA Galaxy in the U.S and the Chinese Super League.
He has scored 27 goals in all competitions since arriving on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain last summer and for a player who has once compared himself to a god and even called himself 'not a mere mortal', his warning to Manchester United won't come as a surprise.
Speaking to Man U Tv, Zlatan said:
'I'm 35 and a lot of things have to be settled.
'It's not like I'm 20 and I have another five or 10 years. Probably I have one, two, three years so everything depends on what you want and what the club wants; what the vision of the club is because I said from day one I didn't come here to waste time, I came here to win. If you want to win bigger then you have to create bigger.

'Listen, if I had something to say I would already have said it. We are talking. Whether we were far from each other or close to each other, there is no news. There are still talks and let's see what will happen. I am open. Nothing is done yet.
'I came here without the Champions League. I came here with the team as it was. It was not a team that was favourite to win. I still came. I came to help. I came to do what I am able to do. To make it better. To bring the team to higher views, so let's see what happens.'
United remain fifth following Tuesday night's 1-1 draw with Everton at Old Trafford, with their hopes of finishing in the top-four looking doubtful and Ibrahimovic, who returned to the line-up after a three-match ban and scored their last-gasp equaliser from the penalty spot said the season has been so-so so far.

'We are doing everything to create chances and to take our chances,' he added. 'The table of the competition is not lying.
'The team is what it is and we have done I think a great season and we have won two out of five trophies and have two more to play for.
'If we got those points we would be higher but I think we have done great we have done good for the team that is and then the table is not lying.
'If we would be higher the team would be better, yes, but it is what it is. We have to be realistic. We have been working hard.
'There are still two months to go. A lot of things can happen. Of course we want to get the win.
'The nice thing is that we have not been losing for a lot of games, so it is what it is and if we would have been a team for No 1 spot, we would be No 1 today.'

Nivea Deodorant Advert seen as racist

An advert for one of Nivea’s most popular products has been described as racist by Facebook users.

The advert shows a woman with black hair and her face away the camera, along with the words: ‘White is purity’ written in blue capital letters.

The official Nivea page has been liked by 19 million people and often shares advert campaigns.

Blasted online as ‘a problematic slogan by a prominent high street name’, the picture has been pulled from their Facebook page.

The company wrote ‘Keep it clean, keep it bright. Don’t let anything ruin it’ alongside the image.

It was meant to be advertising the ‘Invisible’ brand of deodorant where the bottle is half black and half white.

However, despite the image being taken down by the company, it was up for the entire weekend and became popular among some alt-Right groups.

The comment section had several right wing ‘memes’ included while one user wrote ‘I think I will start buying high end Nivea products.’

Another wrote ‘Mark my words, Nivea is about to get real popular real quick’.

Another outraged user wrote ‘Are the comments meant to be like funny? I genuinely can’t tell what’s jokes and what’s rampant Nazism? Maybe I’m not edgy enough to get the humour.’

The post was only removed after Metro.co.uk inquired about the reasons behind the post.

Nivea did not provide comment when approached.

Nivea is more than a hundred years old and is based in Germany. With the parent group, Beiersdorf’s revenue of more than 6,000 million euros, it is one of the largest companies in the industry.

Godfather of Marijuana research, Raphael Mechoulam says he’s never used it

Famous Israeli chemist, Raphael Mechoulam spent decades researching the mysteries of marijuana in a lab, but his fascination with one of the world’s most popular drugs never led to personal experimentation. In a recent interview with Culture Magazine, he said:

“I have never used it. First of all, I am still interested, but as I did research and we had official supply of cannabis, obviously if we had used it for non-scientific reasons, if people had come to know about it that would have stopped our work. Basically, neither I nor my students were interested.”
His research into the pharmacology of cannabinoids (cannabis) began in the early 1960s with a batch of hashish that police passed to him out of an evidence locker.  Over the next few years, his group would become the first to isolate and synthesize cannabidiol, or CBD, now revered for its potential medical applications, as well as tetrahydrocannabinol‎, or THC, the psychoactive compound in marijuana that makes users feel high.

Mechoulam’s work also opened the door for more recent developments in the field of marijuana medicine.

Studies have shown that cannabinoids have promise in the treatment of ailments including cancer, epilepsy, chronic pain, anxiety and even some psychotic symptoms.

Heroin use among white people has tripled since 2001 - New Study

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, In 2015, 52,404 people died from drug overdoses. 63% percent of those deaths involved an opioid.
More people die from drug overdoses than from guns or car accidents. At the peak of the AIDS epidemic in 1995, 43,115 people in the United States died from the disease.
Furthermore, since 1999, the number of overdoses from prescription opioids like oxycodone and hydrocodone, as well as illicit drugs like heroin, have quadrupled. In fact, heroin now accounts for one in four overdose deaths in the United States.

Now, a new study in the journal JAMA Psychiatry looks beyond the total number of overdose deaths to get a better picture of how heroin use patterns have changed since 2001. Since then, the number of people who have used heroin has increased almost five-fold, and the number of people who abuse heroin has approximately tripled. The greatest increases in use occurred among white males.

The authors evaluated the responses of 79,402 individuals, as collected from the 2001-2002 and the 2012-2013 National Epidemiological Survey on Alcohol and Related Conditions, a longitudinal study conducted by the National Institutes of Health to evaluate alcohol and drug use and abuse.

While heroin use between whites and non-whites was fairly similar in the 2001-2002 results, at 0.34% and 0.32% respectively, by 2012-2013 the percentage of whites who had used heroin jumped to 1.90%. Just 1.05% of non-whites in 2012-2013 used heroin.

Heroin use also increased significantly among those with a high school education or less, as well as those who lived at less than 100% of the federal poverty line. The authors of the new report write "these trends are concerning because increases in the prevalence of heroin use and use disorder have been occurring among vulnerable individuals who have few resources to overcome problems associated with use."

The findings of these new reports are in line with earlier research over the past two decades about increasing heroin and opioid overdoses.
"The trend isn't a surprise the takeaway is what matters. Heroin use disorder is a serious medical condition with which individuals are likely to struggle for the rest of their life. We need to give them the tools they need to survive and thrive," said Banta-Green.
